Thomasson Company ships utility poles both nationally and internationally to investor-owned utilities, municipal systems, rural electric cooperatives, and telephone companies. Our primary means of delivery is via truck; we’re accomplished in moving inventory via rail transit as well. In fact, we have established relationships with all Class I railroads. But, through years of evaluating and utlizing various shipping methods, we believe crane-equipped trucks typically are the most practical and cost efficient means of transit.
